Turning bamboo plywood

Hi guys,
I thought I'd share some pics of my plywood turning.
I just got everything cut out and glued up.
I alternated the grain in several different directions on each glue up.
Some are at a 45 orientation, some at 90, some the same way.

I'll experiment with the actual turning in the next day or so.
Any hints? thoughts? warnings? advice?
All comments welcome as this is brand new.

I don't really have any advice for you at this time, but I am looking forward to seeing the results of your turning. Good luck.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"

You should be alright turning those glued up blanks. Just make sure your plywood doesn't have any voids in it. If you can come across some plywood that used osb for the core, it really looks cool when you turn it. One of our club members used to bring in pieces of it and give it away. It was 1" thick with birch veneers on both sides and osb in the middle. When you turned it, it looked like something exotic when you were done.
