Wow, sorry to hear that. Sounds a little like some of the symptoms of PTSD. Glad to see you back in the shop.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

Thanks every one and Sawdust I am being treated for PTSD. nightmares, anger issues and all that goes with it ....sucks.

Bond your right, i pulled away form everyone in my life wife, kids, friends till i could get my temper under control. all because some young man didn't want to live anymore. turned into me at 80 mph head on to my truck.

any way i have missed out on seeing a lot of great turnings here and have a huge amount to catch up on.

Glad to hear you're getting the help you need as a lot of people don't understand why they're going through what they are. Glad to see you getting back to it and as others have said, we're all here for each other.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

Sorry to read of that terrible shock you suffered; here's hoping you can get the help you need to put it behind you and regain your balance.

Those are 3 good looking pens - I particularly like the olive wood.

Sorry to hear about what your going through. I can't say I know how you feel. But, I know one who does. I lost my mother suddenly a few years ago. I had always knew about Jesus and God and believed with my head, but never a true relationship with Him. When my dad knocked on the door that night and told me my mother was gone, I fell to my knees and called upon a loving God. I can't say I didn't hurt, but the comfort and the strength that a realtionship with God through his Son Jesus Christ gives made a world of difference. I have never really grieved for my mom. She left behind a testimony that she had a better place to go because she was saved by the blood of Jesus. In short, I know God is willing and more than able to give you help. He is a very present help in a time of trouble. We'll be praying for you and your family. May God Bless You My Friend

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
