Very nice video John.
You really put a lot of good techniques and tips in a small amount of time.

Once again John, you have given us another fantastic video. Right at the end of the video, you mentioned about the bowl gouge and I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the information about proper technique with the bowl gouge and how it should be used. Then, the video ended.

I was so disappointed. Are you planning on doing any videos on the bowl gouge and the methods of roughing out and finishing bowls? I would most certainly love to see those. Your videos have helped me immensely over this weekend alone and I'm like a junkie who needs his next fix now. Loving your videos and loving my new found lathe success. Thank you again for another fantastic video and if you do decide to put together a bowl turning video, that would be awesome.

I am going to do a video on bowl gouge usage. I did a demo just recently on now to make turning easier. I hope to put that into the video so you'll understand more about it's use. I want to add some fancier techniques to the video including picture in picture which I have to learn how to do. I think you need to see a close up of the tool and a longer shot of how I move the tool with my body to really understand the advantages.
Keep watching. I'll get to it as soon as I can.

I hit the "thanks" button 10 times, but it only registers one hit.
