small walnut box

this is about 2" diameter.i turned the inside with a spindle gouge and it worked really well
i tried to take some better pictures tonight so i hope you all like these!!!

Robert, very nice box. One little trick that I learned was to put a very slight bevel/chamfer on the bottom of the box. It will give the box "lift" and make it look lighter. Think of the bottom of a can of Coke.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

This is so beautiful! I have yet to turn a box. I've been watching Carl Jacobsen's videos on youtube and he has a couple really cool boxes that he makes. The biggest challenge for me I think is going to be making the lid and making sure that it fits just right! Great work! Keep it up!
