Sharpening tips

I offered to do a video on how I sharpen my Thompson detail gouge and since I do that based on how I sharpen my bowl gouge I thought I would just include both along with tips on how I set up the arm of the Oneway sharpening jig. I also show how I sharpen the Stewart Batty grind by hand. I thought that might be handy for those who don't have a jig. Let me know what you think.

Nice video once again. Very useful information. The video did jump when explaining your block to extend the vari grind attachment. But I got the gist of what you were talking about. Very nice. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make and post these videos. Very helpful.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"

Thanks John -- your videos are taking some of the mystique out of it for me. Really appreciate the time you put into helping others learn this stuff.
