segmented dish

what a weekend me my wife,dad,stepdaughter and her friend spent yesterday helping the tornado cleanup at east bernstat(over 1000 showed up to help this little community).then today Ky basketball and time on the lathe
i was fortunate enough to get a few segmented blanks from Paul.when i got them i was lost and afraid i could never do these justice but i think it turned out pretty nice

robert, I don't know what you were talking about saying yours don't turn out well, that looks awesome! Nice shape and smooth!

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

this was more fun than anything i have ever turned ,as i was turning so many different colors were covering my hand and it all turned so smooth and easy

Very, very nice!!! I love the colors. Would you happen to have a picture of it all glued up before you started turning? I am new to turning and this piece is awesome looking!! Thanks for posting it.
