Saturdays turnings.

Turrned these pens on Saturday, I know some of u guys dont agree with acrylic as opposed to wood so I made some mixtures and Deer antler on top of the bullet pens which were on order.
The pens are finished upto 1600 grit and with HUT polish.

My only problem with acrylics is I can't stand working with them. The smell makes me ill. I love the look.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

Very nice. I've never worked with deer antler; it seems as if it would be fairly difficult to work with because of its density and hardness.

Deer antler is easy to turn, just smells a bit when boring and can burn if sanded to high a speed.

Yeah I love acrylic and antler more than working with wood, I'm too the point where they are easier to do than some wood, just been not been messing with wood but for the past wood for a while now. Looks cool but not too sure on how wide they are, looks amazingly done but I'm also about functionality.
