Just finished my latest piece. It is Russian Olive Wood that is cut just above the root. It has some nice color and figure to it. It is a smaller piece about 7" tall and 4" across at the top, and 5 1/2" on the bottom. I Had to play with the shape to keep some of the character of the piece. Not as pretty as my Dads piece, but pretty happy with it.

Thanks, it was a fun piece to turn. Very different plan to get the design I wanted. Lots of the bottom was to fragile to save. Hope to get a couple more prices from my father.
