Saw him recently when he did a two day seminar for Orange County Woodworkers Association. He brought the Dovetail bench made famous on his show & the Alchemist's Vessel & another vessel. He demonstrated the process he uses for his Gilding & Chemical Patination techniques, Band saw Dovetails, Bent Wood Lamination, Band saw veneers, & a couple of other topics. He gave lots of info. Wish the show was still on.

I wonder how much his seminars cost? Look like he has gone in a different direction than his PBS shows. I would also like info on his chem processes for wood. I remember the patina he put on copper.

He has dvd's on his site showing the process. I bought all his dvd's at the seminar. The Gilding & Chemical Patination dvd shows how he does it & where to buy supplies.

The seminar he did thru the club is a drop in the bucket compared to the hands on classes he holds at his place. He has a schedule on his site. E-mail him to see if he is going to be near you in the future. He also sends out a monthly e-mail news letter.
