Reeves Drive on 46-525

I recently purchased a Rockwell 46-525 lathe, knowing a few things were missing. The tool rest and spur drive I figured could easily be replaced and they were. When I started putting new belts on it I noticed that the drive would rotate away from the control teeth. I did notice a notch on the opposite side and a hole in the upper casting. It looked to me that it was made to slide along something. Checking the parts diagram I see I am missing a guide shaft. Does anyone know what keeps it in the upper hole and can someone provide dimensions?

One for beer and one for wine, I couldn't resist.

No, I don't. I'll see what I can do. I think the hole that it fits into is going to be a problem.

I finally had some time to look at the thing and figure it out. A 1" bar inserts into the hole. There is a set screw in the base of the lathe that holds it in. Pictures to follow.
