red oak burl pepper grinder still chucked up

i think i may keep this one for myself, only due to the fact that i trashed my chainsaw dropping this tree, lol, from the size of the burls i really didn't think that it would have gnarly grain, but i was wrong. I love free burls, the only thing it cost was a little sweat, and a few splinters.

Wild stuff! You are a busy man, you are cranking out these projects like it's nobody's business. Beautiful grain patterns and colors in the wood. I look forward to seeing it finished.

i love making saw dust. when i am not in the woods fishing ,hunting or harvesting wood, i am in the wood shop. All of my turnings are due to me making wild game calls, that took off pretty well and now i am trying to challenge myself a little more! I never back down from a challenge and never stop testing myself....,!!!!
