Possible Trades for pen turning blanks??

Hi all, have to say, this site is great... I was thinking.. I have oodles of figured and burl maple that has been dried for 5 or 6 years. Its gorgeous stuff but I have more than I can use and I want to try some different woods. Any of you fellows want to swap -say a small or med flat rate box? Im looking for anything with lots of character, burl, spalt, exotics, etc.. Im attaching a pic thats representative of what i would be sending. All 7/8x7/8x5-6".

Sorry for the long winded post. Just thought I would throw it out there! Happy Holidays!

I've got a some exotics that might be of interest. No burls but lots of grain and color. I don't do pens, but something as small as 1.5" wide by 3/4 thick would be OK w/ me.

Drop me a note at [email protected] and we can see if we can work something out.

OOPS ... sorry ... I forget how to read sometimes ... 7/8 x 7/8 not really big enough for me.

I like what I see, but I don't have anything to trade. Would you consider selling some of your stock and, if so, how much?

I second that, how much, for how many pieces?

Thanks.

I've got some mixed exotics (and domestics) and would love to trade a small flat-rate box. I'll have to check what's in there and get a couple of snaps so you can see if you're interested.

Alternatively -- if you decide you'd prefer to sell than trade, I'm interested in that too ... anything from a single blank up to a small flat-rate box would be perfect, this is beautiful looking stuff.

(edit: ... sent you a PM)

I might have enough to trade I have purple heart, spanish cedar and Ancient Kauri in larger amounts along with some bubinga. I also have a blank or two of cocobolo, red heart, come curly cherry and maybe a few others.

thanks for the responses!

duncan and rrbrown, I have sent you pm's..

I really appreciate the interest from others wanting to buy, but until the holidays are over and things calm down I think I will just try to work a few trades..
