popcorn bowl

Turned from River Birch with a bit of splalting. 9"X4" satin WOP and buffed. Because Birch is so lightweight I felt safe using a bit thicker wall (1/2") than normal. Feels good in the hands and holds popcorn just right!

very nice, both the wood and the turning. Too pretty to put popcorn in though ... send me the popcorn and I'll dispose of it for you.

You can never have too much pepperoni on your pizza or own too many clamps.

Very nice bowl! I love the wood. It amazes to me see how a little difference like the lip sloping down to the outside really changes the appearance of a bowl.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

Nicely turned!

Thanks for sharing!

Very nicely done! I agree it's too nice for popcorn, but then again it's meant to be enjoyed so have at it.

I want to die quietly in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like the passengers of his car.
