A Piece of Hickory and John Deere Green

A friend of mine that builds cabinets gave me some hickory with really nice looking grain and knots in it. The kit is New Series Rollerball from Beartooth, finished with 10 coats of CA. (think i'll keep this one)

A lady wanted a John Deere green pen for her son and i really could'nt find a decent blank, i took a solid green and yellow blank and cut the stripes with a band saw, wet sanded them smooth then roughed them a little and used ca to glue them up.

Nice pens Longbeard,
The hickory looks very elegant. I really like the JD model.
