Out with the old, in with the new!

The old Craftsman lathe worked for many years, maybe 22-23 not sure. FINALLY it died and unfortunately I had to go get a new one. Jet 1642EVS and boy oh boy is it sweet! Even made the drawer unit before turning the first piece on it. Now is that control or what! OK maybe that is being crazy.

Way to go DJ,
That's the same lathe I have. Now you have no more excuses if something doesn't turn out like you planned. I like the drawer setup.

I just picked up the 1642, and hope it is a good lathe. Let me know if you have any problems, as it is going to be several weeks before I can get up to the cabin to turn anything..... I have heard a lot of good things about this lathe.... Hope you enjoy.... www.jaybees-crafts.com
