Osage Orange Pendant

This is a fairly quick and easy project.

It's about 1/4" thick. Turning wise I could do one in an hour or so.
Getting the blanks ready is the most time consuming part since I don't have a bandsaw and cutting the blanks on a cheap table saw seems kinda . So, I start with something close and start turning it down.

I'm using Myland's friction polish so drying time isn't much. It's just a process and once you work it out you could knock these out pretty quickly.

Hey Tim,
simple but cool. Looks like a fun project. How big is that, looks like somewhere around 2"?

Mike, this one is actually closer to 3". A little larger than I usually do them but I had to keep all that color.

We did a similar design at a club night a couple of weeks ago. I got a bunch of blanks ready, will post some pics when they're done.
