Online pen kits???

I am looking for a reputable “online” supplier for my pen kits & other miscellaneous supplies. At the moment I am in the market for cigar pen kits. Can anyone here recommend a supplier that they have used & are happy with? It looks like I can save a lot of money ordering online, BUT it the kits are cheap & no good why bother. Thanks in advance.

Craft Supplies USA has good quality, fair prices and the best customer service.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

Bear Tooth Woods is one of the best vendors out there. I have been buying from him for years.

I usually go with PSI, or a reseller of PSI like WoodTurning.

I got some from Craft supplies one time, about 5 kits, but it took an incredible amount of force to push the top and bottom half's together... and this should be easy to do since that is how you typically change the refill, YMMV...

I like exoticblanks.com they resale the nicer CSUSA kits and add freebies to your order. On top of they Ed and Dawn are incredible with any question or help with anything they do or don't sell.plus they ship fast.

Knowing the three main suppliers and their resellers helps.

Berea Hardwoods
Craft Supplies
Penn State Industries

Berea http://www.bereahardwoods.com/

Craft Supplies http://www.woodturnersacatalog.com

Penn State http://www.pennstateind.com

While Crafts Supplies does not have any resellers, they do offer economy kits that I would not buy. Penn State also has an economy line, and so do their resellers that would not buy. Not sure about Berea’s and their reseller’s, thinks some Rockler and WoodCraft stores offer economy line products that are junk.

I buy directly from Berea because prices and shipping reasonable. Over many years have heard nothing but outstanding praise for these resellers:
