not wood turning- but

This is for Mitch. It's not woodturning but is headed that way. I needed to cut threads that were square to the shaft. I couldn't do it by hand so I turned this adaptor to hold my die's and then held it in the metal lathe chuck with the rod inthe tailstock. Sweet. I know for you metal workers this is old hat but for me this is so cool to have that capability.
I'm doing this to try and build a tool handle that uses R8 collets. I have 2 handles that I bought but I want a smaller version for small tools so I thought I would try to build one my self.
