Love that wood! Gonna have to get me a piece or two of that.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

This piece of wood was like saw dust when I turned it.Is it always that dry and not green? It did have a seal of some type of coating on it.Or did I get a bad piece?Mack

Nah! Mack its very dusty when dry, turning it green is by far a better idea. But it came out just fine.

ha,ha, you did see that.Well,it like this, when I started the hole came in from the wood being so dry,so I stopped and put a dowel rod in there, not thinking that it would be different in color.Oh well, only one eye saw it;Mack

With all of the different colors in that wood, it's not a bad thing!

...and everybody noticed it, I'm just the only one rude enough to mention it!

Mack that is some great looking wood. I have looked at this thread twice and the first time I though I was looking down into the center of the bowl and the second time I thought I was looking at the bottom of the bowl and now I don't know which is right. Optical illusion is making my head spin. Beautiful bowl!
