A new bowl

Here is my second bowl, this one went a little faster and didn't come off the lathe at all. Its ambrosia maple and was a request from the wife since she loves how this wood looks.

WOW, thats only your second!?! That looks sweet!! I love ambrosia!!

I'm gonna start trying some small bowls if my chuck ever shows up. I hope mine turn out half that good!!

Good Job!
That finish really made the grain pop. Did you use an oil finish?

You sure learned quickly -- that's a nice looking bowl, whether it's your second or fifty-second.

I used tung oil for the pop of color. She was very happy with the end result.
