Narra Colour

Hey guys
I just bought some Narra for turning, it is brownish red right now and i am wondering if it will change colour when exposed to light. If so, what colour? Thanks alot!

Well, I hope the other more experience members might be able to correct me if I am wrong but I believe that in general, all woods don't technically "change color," but rather they just darken and begin to loose their vibrancy as they begin to be exposed to sunlight, at least that is what I have heard/observed in my experience!

You can find out pretty quick. Sand or carve away a little bit so you have bare wood. Cover a small section with some aluminum foil. Put some finish on it and then set it in the sun for a week or so. If it's going to change it will usually show something.
