My "WOOD" Gloat for today

While at work today I came upon this nice Ambrosia Maple and brought what I could home. Luckly the crew I work with has a front end loader. We sat these pieces up on a dirt bank so I could roll them off into the truck. If not for that I would have never budged them. They are about 20" thick and 3ft long. I had to cut one open and this is what I found. "NICE"..........

That is gorgeous. I can only wish that I will get some wood like that one day. Nice score.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"
