My segmented pen

Here is a pen I made with scrap wood from my shop. It is red oak, walnut, mahogany and cherry. I glued thin strips together to get a board that was about 8 or 9 inches wide and 13 or 14 inches long. The blank for this pen was cut at an angle to give it a nice effect. This is a wall street II from woodcraft and if you notice, it has a stylus at the end so I can use it on my iPhone. I am planning a purpleheart and maple one.
