My first egg

This is my first attempt at an egg entitely with the skew. I was happier with a slightly more elongated shape but then had a catch I had to take out. In the foreground is a real egg for comparison.

Looks like a good start. I am trying to learn that darn skew too. What a bugger!

I highly recommend "The Skew, The Dark Side And The Sweet Side" by Alan Lacer. I had seen some skew basics before that, but that DVD showed me things I wouldn't have thought possible. I'm now watching his next DVD "Son of Skew" which shows projects using the techniques from the first video.

Anytime you can pull off something like that with the skew is good. Nice little egg.
