More bowls...(pics added in OP 4/24)

Howdy all...
I really enjoy seeing all the fine work of the other members here...
Thanks for sharing!
Just to show that I've been in the shop, a few bowls and a couple of boxes...
Bowls are, clockwise from top:
Sycamore, ash, hackberry, locust, and jacarunda...
Boxes: Maple and hackberry.
p
In unrelated news, I vacuumed the shop today and it got bigger!
Yes, I use an old-fasioned dust-collection method, known locally as "the floor".

Two more done today...
Locust and hackberry, rapidly becoming my fav's...
The hackberry was so dry and rotten, I could take 1/4" bites when hollowing.
...and an olive/wenge S&P set...

...ever notice how "I'm sorry" and "I apologize" mean the same thing, unless you are at a funeral..?

Looks like you have been busy. Good collection of work. I like the natural edge bowl with the natural edge wings. Interesting shape.

Pretty good variety of work there Paulie. Nicely done. I like the hackberry pieces, nice looking grain.
Ps. we are trying to send our rain down your way.

Great work!!! I too, love the natural edge bowl with the wings. They all look fantastic. You should be proud of all of these, I would be.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"

You really should start signing and dating your pieces (if you're not already). Looks great btw.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

Thanks all!
I do put our moniker on the bottom, when complete...
I've been trying to number the first 100 bowls, but it's hard to keep track...

I get a bit bored with standard bowls, so try to make different shapes...
Most often, I'll put a blank on the lathe, true it, and then just start knocking wood off until a shape forms, then go with it..

...and yes Mike, you may share some of your precipitation!
Rumor has it we may get a drop or two early this week.
Fingers crossed, it's been >2 months, literally.
