Lastest batch of bottle stoppers

Couldn't stand the lack of posts on the woodturning page, so here goes. I turned these stoppers this weekend and made 2 of these display stands. These will be sold on commission at a local wine bar. Top pic, Left to right: Rosewood, spectraply, lignum vitae, tulipwood, munn ebony.
Middle pic, left to right: Spalted maple, rosewood, Dymondwood Tapestry, bubinga, acacia. Bottom pic, left to right: Spectraply, marblewood, munn ebony, tulipwood, zebrawood. Thanks for looking.

I usually sell plain wood stoppers for $15, multicolored or otherwise embellished for $20 when I'm at craft shows/street fairs/farmer's markets. Since there will be a middle man taking commission, I'm going with straight $20 per.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

I don't know what to say other than Wow!!! Those are all beautiful. I'm jealous of the skill with which you turn these things. Very nice as always.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"

excellent gallery of pieces - I particularly like the form of the tulipwood one (top row, next to right-hand end of the row)

Bob,

I ordered these a while ago, and have to issue a warning... be VERY careful checking the finish on them. Many of the chrome plated ones are seriously flawed.

That's some great looking work sawdust, thanks for relieving the slow traffic! Looking at those I'm convinced I need to get some tulipwood and rosewood for my next round of bottle stoppers. Hope you have as much luck selling them as you do making them!

I want to die quietly in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like the passengers of his car.
