Beautiful piece. Never get tired of looking into the grain. It can be mystical almost like images from Hubble. Maybe that's Just me but beautiful piece

Very nice looking piece. I hope to try a plate sometime soon. Just wondering what thickness you start out with ?

You say "just" a walnut plate like it is nothing special. Man, this is awesome. It looks fantastic and the grain is incredible. Change that title from "just a walnut plate" to "Holy cow this looks fantastic"
Great work.

This is a case of less is more. By keeping the design simple, you've allowed the wood to scream beauty. Excellent job and a wonderful choice of wood.
