just a couple lder projects that are finally getting a finish on them

Just a couple projects that i finally sanded down and slapped some polly on. The larger vase is mostly mahogany with some cedar and cherry rings in the main body, with the top ring being purple heart with mahogany in between...
The other one was my first attempt at a staved vase and the taper was not exactly as wide on top as i expected it to be, but i figured what the hell glue it up and turn it any ways! they were fun pieces

:edit sorry for the side ways photos !

Very nice, but my neck hurts after looking at them for a while

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

...ever notice how "I'm sorry" and "I apologize" mean the same thing, unless you are at a funeral..?

Very nice Jon,
The purple really sets off each piece.
