Hey Bond3737

Hey Bond call me!!!! Here's another specialty piece for you.
I'm gonna tease a few here and you surprise us with a awesome turning as you done with the walnut.

This is a (approx 6" thick with 8x10" faces) cherry crotch with a small crotch coming off one of the legs ( maybe considered a double but not together).
Here's a link to sawing thread http://www.woodworkingtalk.com/f26/a...5/#post1180969
Here's a side view and some feather pics from the main log it came off of.

Was such a blast hangin out last time. definitely see some cool possibilities in that ol hunk:) Just back from wisconsin and my girlfriends stepdad owns a bunch of land. Was walkin around and the whole darn place was just covered in cherry burls! Went out and got a few low hangers. Is it weird to take a chainsaw with you wherever you travel??? Hahaha. Anywho we'll have to get together after the holidays and share some war stories and do some sawin. Hope you're well brother. Keep the chips flyin, that cherry looks amazing

Ha ha ha. Sweet find! If I were you I would be in there like a dirty shirt. If you get some now the bark will stay on as well.
