Happy Easter Eggs!

We were supposed to fill 10 plastic Easter Eggs and bring them to church for the egg hunt, but I made these instead.

Happy Easter Eggs!-easter-eggs.jpg

Somewhere in there: bubinga, padauk, leopardwood, cherry, canarywood, wenge, walnut, hickory, yellow heart, bloodwood, mahogany, and purple heart.

PS- The camera angle is a little off, they really are egg shaped!

What a neat selection of woods and the eggs look fantastic. I bet the kids will love them more than any candy they get.

Nice, if you hide them...don't hide them too well, I wouldn't want to lose any of those.

We hid them (as well as the plastic candied eggs) at church this morning. The kids that found them weren't too thrilled, most of them shook the wooden egg to see what candy was in it! :D The moms and dads loved them, though, I told them it was their reward for letting their kids have all the candy! :)

Very nice ,indeed; hope the chicken recovers well for some more eggs soon. The kids may like them better tomorrow, if however, their parents let them play with them.
