Free wood, who wants it?

So I've got this major bug up my butt to re-organize/paint/upgrade my shop. So first step is to do something with some of the wood that I have been accumulating over the last few years. I've got a bunch of stuff that I just have too dang much of.

Walnut stopper blanks with a nice mix of heart and sap wood. Also some pieces that would make a nice ice cream scoop handle (or similar sized project).

Some walnut bowl blanks (2-3" thick, various diameters), kiln dried.

Curly maple stopper blanks (some with mild spalting).

Curly maple pen blanks (some with mild spalting).

A mixed assortment of apple, pear, apricot (few pieces of this left) sized for stoppers.

If anyone is interested in some of this, all I ask is that you cover shipping costs. Let me know if you do pens and I'll throw in some random exotics like sandalwood, mango, koa...whatever I find that looks interesting.

Heck, I might even throw in a piece or two of that crazy spalted maple that txpaulie and Taylormade have posted pics of

Have a great thanksgiving day everyone.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

I'm up near Seattle. But I'll throw it in a flat rate box and send it anywhere, just let me know if you'd like more pen, stopper, or small bowl sized pieces.

I could use a few pieces of walnut. Just can't seem to run in to it. I off until Monday so I could come up anytime. I also have some Little Leaf Linden and some English Hornbeam I can part with if you want some.

I like some of the walnut bowl blanks and some pen and stopper blanks.

Woodmarshall, I'm actually heading down to Woodcraft tomorrow, so I could meet you there if you like. You don't have enough posts yet to PM so shoot me an e-mail [email protected] and we can figure out a time.

I would be interested in some walnut blanks and some of the fuit woods. Just started turning things other than pens and stoppers.

I am just learning to turn bowls. Looks like you have a bunch of people closer than me though. If you don't have takers let me know.

Ok, most of what I had to give away is accounted for.

balasharc, the fruitwood is accounted for. I still have some smaller walnut blanks (small bowls or multiple stoppers, maybe a few handle sized pieces left). If you're interested, email me; [email protected].

Monte, email me and let me know what you'd like/need, we might be able to trade some things.

mickit, DST, prestonbill, and woodmarshall; you are all set. Taylormade, you too are set.

Update

All the wood I had to send is gone. If we've been in contact, your packages shipped today. Thank you all for your interest, prompt payments or swaps. Pics to come of projects with bartered wood.
