First Mill: what do you think? questions..

just completed my first mill. im pretty happy with it over all but i was wondering about something. the top rotates just SLIGHTLY out of round which to most is imperceptable, but drives me crazy. how do you guys turn mills? i have a chuck now etc but the whole thing seemed awkward. and why in the hell do you need to bore the interior 1 1/16"? have you guys ever tried to find a 1 1/16 forstner? WHAT A PAIN!
btw wood is rosewood w lacquer finish..

Wow!! That is a nice looking mill. I wouldn't use it in the daylight if I were you. With a finish like that, the sunlight reflecting off of the mill could blind someone and then you are looking at a lawsuit. Be proud of it, I would be.

Great looking mill. Mikes tutorial is excellent. I found the bits I needed at craft supply USA.

I concur. Mike's tutorial is awesome. Get it, if for nothing else, an example of a really well put together tutorial.
