few pepper mills

I started turning pepper mills about 3 years ago. My brother taught me how to turn by showing me some basic techniques and said have at it. After many frustrating hours in front of the lathe and a few choice woods i might be getting the hang of it. While gluing up a blank i turned one of the pieces the wrong way. When i took the blank out i thought oh no then looked closer and thought that should be cool. So i started experimenting with different angles and cuts and these are some of the products of my initial mistake.

Those are great thokk. I checked out your website, there are some fine pieces on there, too . I'm new at woodturning, or woodworking period for that matter and peppermills are on my list. I hope mine turn out that good when I finally get to make some.
