Even bigger bowl

Ok, last one for a while I promise. Here is a large, shallow bowl I bowl I turned today. The largest thing I've turned yet and it presented a whole host of fun things to deal with. It is spalted maple and the wood was very punky, so I couldn't get clean cuts no matter the tool. It has the bark inclusion, a chunk of which blew out, so I used inlace stones and CA to fill the void, and 2 other smaller cracks. It was also too large for my jumbo jaws (Oneway mini-jumbos) so I had to improvise a way to remove the tenon and finish the bottom. Anyway, I got it done, enjoy.

I like the spalted wood. Bowl looks great. Where do you get the Inlace stones or crystals from?

I mostly order them from these guys:
http://www.inlacebook.com/index.html

I tried the actual resin kits and couldn't seem to get the mix right to get the stuff to cure proper. Then I read about just filling the void with the granules/nuggets/etc and flooding with CA glue and hitting with accelerator. That's what I did here. I'll try and get a few more pics up today or tomorrow of some other things I've done with this method. Thanks for looking.
