Nice pens. I'm thinking you have allot of members supplying wood.

Knowing of course you paid for it so others don't go begging them for free wood.

Thanks!! The spalted maple is my favorite as well. I'm thinking of making one out of one of those blanks for myself!!

Yes, I paid for all this wood. Please dont start hounding these members asking for free wood, lol. Between the guys here and the guys on Wood Barter, I think I'm going to go broke buying wood!!

Member bikeshooter currently has some nice spalted wood listed in the classified section. Some sweetgum crotch that looks incredible!! Ive gotta put a halt on my wood buying briefly and start turning out more product!!

Gorgeous pens for sure. Love the spalting. Great work.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"

Nice work on all of them. The spalted is an outstanding pice of timber and the kit matches well. You just need to either back off on the camera shot or move the pen more east west instead of north south. It gets out of focus because of the macro shot. Just a little side note. Thanks for showing and keep up the fine work.

Thanks guys, its greatly appretiated!!

Clockman, thanks for the photo tips. Ive been trying to figure out how to get the best pics. I have a light box and I try different things every time. These are the best ones I have gotten so far. I havnt tried positioning the pen different though so I'll give that a whirl. Now if I can just get you to post a segmented pen tutorial!!!!!
