Christmas Present for Niece

She's coming to town for a day, tomorrow and I found out this evening so I made her this. I hope she likes it.

If she doesn't, just send it to me and I'll give it a good home...

Very nice and unique piece. She should love it...

I cut that board three times and it's STILL too short!!!...

Tim,
Looks good, I think she'll like it. If you could find a a clear glass dish that would fit the inside, it would make a perfect, old fashioned looking ashtray. Reminds me of the ones I used to see around my grandpa's house when I was a kid.

Thanks all, she seemed to like it. John, folksy is a great term for it and Mike, I remember those ashtrays but she's smarter than me, she doesn't smoke.
