Great looking bowl, glad it held together for you. The last one I tried with an inclusion(crotch piece with a lot of bark inside) flew apart. Instead of a nice nut bowl, I ended up with a smallish candle holder

Very nice, what did you finish it with to get the high gloss shine?

"Dear Lord, lest I continue in my complacent ways, help me to remember that someone died for me today. And if there be war, help me to remember to ask and to answer, 'Am I worth dying for?'"

I was going to ask about the finish also. They look great. I especially like the finishing touches on the bottom.

Very nice

By "spray high gloss poly", do you mean an aerosol can? (if so, what brand and where did you get it please?)

I don't have a spray gun (or a compressor that can drive one) so I'm limited in my options for spray finishes ... hmmm, 'tis the season ...
