I like it.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

The shape is great. The paint job is excellent. I think the bead might be a little too large. Personally I think I would like the rim a little smaller or larger. Probably smaller. I have made bowls in which the rim was very large but that was on wood that had great character and needed to show it off. I think a slightly narrower rim and smaller bead would help. Over all excellent bowl. What I mentioned are just suggestions for the next one.

I absolutely love it. I love the painting of the under side, I love the wide brim and I love the shape. I think that you did a fantastic job on this bowl. If I were to change anything, I would make the recess of the bowl a little deeper. This one's depth is more of a saucer to me than a bowl. Don't take this the wrong way, it's just something that I personally would do. Fantastic bowl!!!

I like it too!

I am a brown and round kind of guy.

That means would like it if bottom wasn't black.

Nice!

I absolutely LOVE the contrast that the black underside of the bowl brings! Gorgeous!

Nice job Mike,
The contrast is pretty striking. Nice finish, nice piece of wood. Keep experimenting, bowls are like fingerprints, no two alike.
