Bad news/Good news

The motor on my Rikon went out Saturday, it had been working fine earlier. I turned it on one last time and it wouldn't get up to speed, barely turning if at all.

I called Rikon this morning and after a grand total of 3 or 4 minutes, ok maybe 5, I've got a new motor on the way. Now that's the way customer service should be. I've got to give them a .

Good to hear! I plan on ordering in a couple days. It's always reassuring to hear stories like that!

I thought I wanted a career, turns out I just wanted paychecks.

Tim, sad and happy for you. There is nothing like having your lathe down. Its a relief to have a power tool someone stands behind. hope your up and ruining soon.
