Ashe Baseball Bat

Any thing wrong with making a baseball bat out of laminated layer of ash? I have some 15/16" and want to glue up enough layer to make a working baseball bat.

Laminated baseball bats are not legal and I believe that they are dangerous.

Laminated bats will work from a turning perspective.

I do not know if they are allowed by the various baseball rules.

It is well known that a good joint glue line is stronger than the surrounding wood. So from a structural perspective a lamination should work. This does not mean the rules agree with the science.

Well it looks like they have changed the rule on bats since I played 45 years ago. Laminated are legal.
