Thanks for the book review. I am pretty new to this sport and there aren't any turners in my hood that I can hang out with so I am reliant on books and videos. I have Raffin's "Complete Guide to Turning" and the accompanying video which I really enjoy. In the video he turns so fast
that I usually refer to the illustrations in the book to get a sense of what he is doing in the video! I will definitely check this one out!
I have been looking over some of the other threads here and have become very interested in the spiralling and chatter effects that you and others have shown. I can't believe these are easy to learn!
Is there a tool for this or do you have to learn special techniques?
