Looks great but you forgot to sign and date it

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

The bottom was still a tad damp from the finish. I'll sign it as soon as it dries. I have been rubbing some finish on the bottoms after finishing the rest. I guess I could finish the bottom before putting it in the chuck.

If you're turning with a recess then there's no reason why you couldn't finish the entire bottom before reversing. Might need just a tiny bit of touch up after you take it off.

Very nice. Where can you by the fruit woods for turning or is it something you cut yourself?

I got the wood from a friend who cut some trees and gave it to me.
