Another prpper mill question

I am making several 6" pepper mills. I have several completed and am ready to order the kits. I can get the deluxe kits at Craft Supply a dollar cheaper than I can in state. Also, free shipping and no sales tax. I don't know if craft supply kits are the same as I can get in state. Has anyone used craft supply deluxe kits? The ones I have been using work with all the hole sizes in firehawkmph instruction. I am mainly concerned about the drive plate hole. The last ones I order from craft supply need a much smaller hole for the drive plate. However, they were not the deluxe model. Also, craft supply list them as 5 5/8" rather than 6". Thanks for any help in advance.

Can't help with your question other than to have the kit in hand and turn the mill based on it, rather than trying to retrofit after.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

, I think I have already learned that lesson. I will buy the kits I know that will work unless someone can tell me that the craft supply ones will be OK. Just trying to save a buck or two. Thanks

I've only turned the mini mills soon help.

As you have alluded to it's generally not worth trying to say a dollar unless your sure.

Yeah, Packard is only about 40 miles away and there are a couple of good golf courses nearby. I believe I will call and place my order and drive over and pick it up. I can't justify the drive to save shipping but I can for golf.
Tom
Edited to add I just order a Stebcenters from craft supply and added one deluxe pepper mill kit to the order. This way in the future I will know size of holes for their deluxe mills.
