Another Jr Gent II

Are you guys getting tired of my pen posts yet? Oh wait that was just that one guy!! lol.

This is another black titanium Jr Gent II in red morrel burl. I originally put this together as a fountain and something just didnt look right for some reason so I switched it to a rollerball and now I like it.

That a beauty ... odd isn't it, how sometimes things don't look right as a fountain but look great as a roller ball.

I've got a piece of red morrel burl with a Mesa tube glued in it, just waiting for me to put it on the lathe. Maybe next weekend.

Yeah, thats the first time I have experience that but I just started doing fountains. I'm glad the fountains and rollerball parts are interchangable.

Next one I have glued up is a nice HRB blank. That one is gonna make a nice fountain. I may even have to order a Jr. Statesmen kit for it rather than the Gent kit. A have a piece of australian golden wattle glued up too but I'm not sure what it holds. Hopefully its not boring. I havnt worked with that stuff before.
