Cool stuff Robert!

My first coupla odd-shaped turnings worried me a bit, also...
Rap yer knuckles a coupla times and you learn to pay attention to the parts ya can't see!

Thanks for sharing.

...ever notice how "I'm sorry" and "I apologize" mean the same thing, unless you are at a funeral..?

Try a little blue tape on the high edge and it'll help you see it better.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

Cool bowl Robert. Nice that it didn't come apart on you. I like the natural edge and the voids.

another cherry bowl

I love those NE pieces, you done did good Another tip is when I do those type of pieces,I turn the outside to completion then I use thar clear wrapping tape to help hold it together, its cheap and doesn't leave any kind of residue on the wood,Did I say its CHEAP

God Bless all

What do I think? I think you are very brave and it turned out beautifully. The shape below the natural edge is especially cool to me. Love it.
