4 new turnings

Hi thanks for posting the pics for me, bit shocked to see more of my stuff on here, thought i had messed up putting on here than my site. Theres a small bit of mahogany on the bottom of the turning of the first one you posted, its 35 yrs plus, i made a longjohn coffee table when i was an apprentis for my mother, she has moved to an old folks home now and the table was broke up i kept the wood, small disk on the bottom, i think its seasoned now hee hee. thanks again

Is that scroll saw work and a little burning or something on pbox? How'd ya do that?

The holes you refer to are whats known as perced work, you can draw or transfer pattern to wood or just freehand, basicly drill it out using a small burr drill with a flexi drive unit, take your time and its easy have a few practice goes, the finer the walls of the turning the better 2mm walls are good, if thick walled then you stand the chance of breacking the bur, you can get burs from ebay, dental burs and circuit board burs 2&3mm straight burs. And yes burnt then with pyro machine, just brings it out abit.
