I had a Hunter #3 tool and had the same the same problem. I sold my Hunter and got some home made tools that use less expensive inserts. They cut as good as the Hunter but work for what I want to do.

Order directly from Mike Hunter. He's a good guy. http://huntertoolsystems.com/ The cutters aren't cheap but they last a long time. I'm curious. Have you worn one out already. I use my #4 quite a bit to clean up box bottoms and when I have torn grain on a vessel. I don't use it all the time but had the original cutter on there for 2 years. I built a custom ornament hollowing tool using a Hunter #1 cutter and hollowed close to a hundred ornament spheres and still haven't changed the cutter.
If you want more info on how I use the Hunter tools check out my videos.

I believe that Craft Supplies and Packard both have them. Also check Woodworkers Emporium.
