1st Pepper mill

Here's my first pepper mill. I used the 10" stainless steel hardware from Rockler. It was definitely a learning experience. The next one should be a little easier since I have a little better understanding on what to do and in what order.

Very nice for a first. Great piece of wood too.
Just my opinion and for future reference for you, the body us a little thin for the beads.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

Yeah, I wasn't completely satisfied with the profile but I really like the spalting so I figured I'll always have time to improve on the proportions.

I really like the way the beads accentuate the spalting, that just works.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...
