Veneering question??

Does anybody know if cold press veneer glue will stick to sticky back veneer?? I have a table top that has paper back mahogany and sticky back cherry and I'm wondering if the bond between the sticky back cherry will hold up over time? Any help would be greatly appreciated:)

If there's no finish on the veneers it will work. Is it the best way...IMO no.

It's the 3m version of sticky back, I did a test price and it seems to stick well using the cold press titebond, but am afraid that over time the sticky back will fail, at this point it's probably safer to just remake the pieces that are sticky back....

I'm talking about the underside of the veneer, I'm obviously glueing it to 3/4 mdf

don't know about veneer glue, but i use the 3m fasbond 30nf (small amount goes a long way) as a surface prep then the sticky back veneer on kitchen refacing jobs. use roller to push on. have not been called back once.
