shouls you treat tenon and mortaise?

Hello aller, first of aller forgive me if this has been discussed beforr. A quick search didnt fond much. Im wonderin if i should treat m'y tenon and mortaise with the same product im using on my structure. Western red cedar table on which i will place a concret tabletop.

Should i sacrifice somme glue adhérence un ordre toake sûre tenon and mortaise will mot rot or fail?

I wouldn't, the tenon is somewhat protected and with good adhesion I doubt you will loose anything by not treating it. I guess you mean with some sort of outdoor stain?
